In anticipation of MTV’s Hottest MCs list to be revealed, Drake catches up with RapFix to gives his picks for the hottest rappers in the game.
“Rick Ross, obviously, number one. J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar… Bars, who had bars? Oh man. I really want to mention this guy, because he’s so good. He dropped a mixtape. He had a song called ‘Sunz of Man’ and ‘Waste Not Want Not,’” he said, mistaking La for Willie. “I think it was La the Darkman though? Amazing bars on that.”
Drizzy also gave props to Meek Mill, Jay-Z and Kanye West, bigging up Maybach Music Group for their solid 2011.
“Meek had a great year. The whole Maybach Music had a great year,”
