Harlem based rapper, ASAP Rocky, has been getting a ton of media attention and his latest mixtape entitled LiveLoveA$AP is one of our favorite mixtapes of the year! On that note, pop remixer Star Slinger, has added his magical touch to the ASAP’s recent “Peso” track. Track sounds awesome, hope to hear it in the clubs soon! What do you all think? I think we all appreciate a change from time to time and what better than to get your favorite hiphop tracks mashed up and remixed to the crazy tunes of dubstep and drumstep. We have been recently following this incredible blog called ThisSongSlaps and to show some appreciation, wanted to give a little something back with this post.

The first song shortening the lifespan of your dying speakers is coming at you from my friend Kidd Upstairs who teamed up with the San Diego dubstep duo DirtyWurx to produce a heavenly dubstep hip hop masterpiece titled ‘HolyWater.’ Next up, the hip hop king Lupe Fiasco adds his touch to my favorite Bassnectar remix; Ellie Goulding’s famous song ‘Lights.’ The track is called ‘LightWork’ and you might as well just press the download button because this track is one of my favorites. Third, Derek Sabiston brings a older track back to life with his bass-heavy dubstep remix of Three 6 Mafia’s classic song ‘I’d Rather.’ – Ben
