It comes as no surprise to us that YMCMB’s Nicki Minaj quickly climbed the Billboard 200 ladder with her latest album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. It has been reported that she sold 253,000 copies in its first week of sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album which features quite the feature list which includes Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Nas, marks the Young Money rapper’s second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
Rewind backwards, her platinum debut Pink Friday opened at No. 2 in December 2010, selling 375,000 copies. It later climbed to No. 1 in February 2011.
A grateful Nicki took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support.
#LOVE > RT @nickislays: @nickiminaj You know you’re the only female rapper to have 2 #1 albums on the Billboard 200, right? ^_^
