50 cent

Wether it be with or without the support of Interscope, 50 Cent is ready to release his 5th album through the label. After releasing his new mixtape, The Lost Tape, 50 is still sticking to the plan.

The rapper took to Twitter to say:

I’m focused on my music watch how things shift july 3 album #5 is coming out with or with out INTERSCOPE.#SK. Don’t call it a come back I never left 7.6.12 mark the date ALBUM #5 REAL HEAT. I’m not moving my release date 7.6.12 it will be available #5 for now THE LOST TAPE. I have no beef with INTERSCOPE i love making music but I’m tired waiting. I’m releasing #5 july3 funny the 4th is independence day  ). #5 the album comes out 7.3.12 just in time for the cook outs and partying that go’s on,on the 4th my birthdays is the 6 I’m celebrating. I’m sorry i did say the 6 its coming out 7.3.12 ALBUM #5 don’t miss it.

After the release of album #5, 50 will only be contractually obligated to give Interscope a Greatest Hits album.

Funkmaster Flex was able to catch up with 50 Cent, who recently took a trip to the hospital, to find out what happened. 50 said that it was something he ate, while in London.

“I ate something in London that wasn’t right with me, and I threw up out there, and I had a comfortable flight back, and I ate here and threw up here.”

He was continuously throwing up, and he explains,

“It’s the first time I ever got sick like that. When I went to the hospital, they was talkin’ ’bout I got a blockage in my small intestine. So I’m like, ‘what’s that?’ I did a CAT Scan and they said everything was blocked…”

The two also touched points on Lloyd Banks, saying that he is allowing Banks to develop as an artist on his own, since he’s been working with him for years.

“There’s a point when artists need to develop themselves and their things on their own. He’s reached that point,” 50 said. “You work for me but I’m working for you? That’s the concept that’s been going on their entire career.”
