2012 is going to be yet another platinum plaque year for the YMCMB camp with a ton of new albums in the pipeline. Over the next few months, hip-hop’s leading crew and label will be releasing albums from Nicki Minaj, Lil Twist, Bow Wow, Tyga, Birdman and Lil Wayne.

First on the list of releases will be Tyga with his continuously pushed back Careless World: Rise of the Last King which is due to hit store shelves on February 21st, 2012. Expecting this album to hit some high digits due to the fact it’s load with smashhits such as “Rack City“, “Still Got It” and “Faded” featuring Lil Wayne. The album includes collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Big Sean, J. Cole, Nas, Wale, Lil Wayne, and Robin Thicke. Really this album is going to be amazing.

Moving on to Bow Wow, his seventh solo album, Underrated was due to hit shelves last fall got pushed back and is now set to drop March 13th, 2012. The album will include features from Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Jadakiss, Musiq Soulchild, and Boys II Men. Expect a solid piece of work from the prince Bow Wow.

Lil Twist is set to drop his Don’t Get It Twisted album one week after on March 20th, 2012. The album is loaded with features from Busta Rhymes, Justin Bieber, and Nicki Minaj.

Young Money’s first lady and our favorite Nicki Minaj will be releasing her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, on April 3rd, 2012 to follow up her 2010 breakthrough masterpiece, Pink Friday. This is one of the most anticipated YMCMB albums we see set for 2012 with some already continuously played tracks “Roman In Moscow” and “Stupid Hoe“.

As for Lil Wayne and Birdman, it is not one hundred percent carved in stone but it seems like we may be in for a treat with a second installment of Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being 2 and Like Father Like Son 2 from the Birdman.

Despite the continuous push backs seems like 2012 is going to be one heck of a promising year for YMCMB and music fans alike. Stay tuned!
