Any joint venture between Kendrick Lamar and Drake always brings out hot chart top singles which stay at the top of the charts for a very long time. Kendrick Lamar a 25 year old hiphop rapper from Compton, California teams up with mega rap super star artist Drake in his new song PoeticJustice, which is already causing ripples in the music industry, even before its official debut.
Poetic Justice is an amazing song that clearly brings into the limelight, the intense talent these 2 rappers have. Poetic Justice is actually the most anticipated track song in Kendrick’s Lamar new album ‘’Good kid m.A.A.d City” set to be released soon.
Poetic Justice background dates back to a classic 1993 romance and drama film, Poetic Justice which featured Tupac Shakur, Janet Jackson, Regina King and Joe Torry. The track borrows its story from the synopsis of this film as well as the fact that Kendrick has also borrowed a leaf from Janet Jackson’s single ‘’Anytime, Anyplace’’.

In a recent interview with The Jewish Chronicle, YMCMB’s Drake says he is able to successfully rap and sing.
“There were people who incorporated melody before me,” said Drake, “but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing.”
“Yes, there are aspects of it that are new in the rap world. But it’s not a gimmick. I just sort of exist and people embrace it. I’m one of the few artists who gets to be himself every day. It doesn’t take me six hours to get ready and I don’t have to wake up in the morning and remember to act like this or talk like this. I just have to be me. That’s one of the favourite parts of my life – I’ve done this purely by being myself.”
