Weezy and Pusha beef? Nah, seems like that has come to an end according to Lil Wayne. After Pusha T dropped ”Exodus 23:1“, Lil Wayne responded with a quick freestyle called “Ghoulish“. After that, we didn’t really hear anything else. Things went quiet after that and now Lil Wayne tells AP that he has moved on from the beef. Does Pusha T feel the same way?
While backstage at Hot 107.9′s 2012 Birthday Bash, Lil Wayne finally opens up about cancelling Nicki Minaj’s performance at Hot 97′s Summer Jam performance. Weezy explains why he did it and says it was just an executive decision.
Last night at Atlanta’s Hot 107.9s Annual Birthday Bash, The King of the South, TI brought out a very special guest to the stage, YMCMB’s, Lil Wayne. Just got home from this year’s 2012 HOT97 Summer Jam and I was a bit disappointed. Reason being, YMCMB wasn’t in the house. Why did this happen? Following Peter Rosenberg’s “Starships” comment on the festival stage (that you can listen to below) Nicki and Wayne weren’t too pleased. Soon after, Lil Wayne gave Nicki Minaj the word that she wouldn’t be hitting the stage.
Well that didn’t take Lil Wayne too long. After people on Twitter mentioned that Pusha T‘s track wasn’t a diss seems like Weezy didn’t take the shots at him and his YMCMB camp too lightly. With his latest joint, Lil Wayne goes straight for Pusha T’s head with the opening line “Fuck Pusha T & anybody that love him, his head up his ass so I’ma have to head butt him”. This will be interesting.
Below is a Tweet from Lil Wayne after realizing his diss track went viral:
