Meek Mill I would categorically state, is one of the most successful American rappers who has risen to stardom in an incredibly short period of time. At only 25, Meek Mill has probably achieved what other older hiphop artists have never been able to pull off.
He’s enjoying all that hiphop artists wish for… publicity, celebrity status, superstardom and of course tremendous financial reward for his hard work.
Meek Mill’s star started shining in 2011 when he first signed up with Rick Ross’Maybach Music Group and T.I‘sGrand Hustle Records.
Immense support from Maybach Group has seen him prosper to new heights each passing day. Enjoying a lot of publicity and respect in the industry, the dude has been on the spotlight since his single “Tupac Back” featuring Rick Ross hit the charts last year. Other famous 2011 tracks associated with him include “Ima Boss” also featuring Rick Ross.
“Amen” is a popular hit single off his Dreamchasers project. Full of young blood and talent, Meek Mill is finalizing plans to launch his widely anticipated full debut studio album “Dreams and Nightmares”. In a short video, he basically charms his fans in readiness for the album launch.
What happens, when from nowhere rain suddenly starts pouring into the middle of a rocking concert? This is what happened at Howard’s University annual yardfest when bad weather came in at the wrong time, just when 25 year old rapper from Philadelphia Meek Mill, along with T.I. had taken the stage and were performing before a packed audience at an open field in Howard University.
Hip Hop Artist T.I
Meek Mill who is famously known for his track “Amen” teamed up with T.I famed for his hit song “Whatever You Like” to entertain a highly charged crowd mainly consisting of students.
The weather turned around very fast when the yardfest was underway with what was initially thought to be a drizzle turning out to be a heavy downpour. The excited crowd was not willing to let go and still remained on their feet as Meek Mill and T.I. continued to entertain the crowd even as the rain drops increased and eventually graduated into a full scale downpour.
Despite the horrible weather, T.I went ahead to entertain the crowd with his track “Bring Em Out even as the rain continued to increase. The unimaginable then happened, the crowd remained put completely ignoring the rain which was out to ruin a day which was fun packed.
T.I and Meek Mill Live Performance During a Heavy Downpour
One could clearly see the determination on the artist’s part as they persistently and energetically continued with their performance uninterruptedly totally ignoring the rain. The crowd which majorly consisted of students was an event they were not ready to let go because of poor weather.
What was witnessed was a highly charged event that not even Mother Nature could have tampered with. The poor weather instead of interrupting the whole event instead added to the excitement and fanfare.
Meek Mill
Those who had time to attend this event will agree to the fact that despite the poor weather, it was a fun packed event.
