Nicki Minaj had selected Diddy and James Cruz to launch her career to the top. It would be hard to say they failed seeing Nicki being selected Break-Through Artist of the Year, having one of the hottest albums on the market, and becoming a Maxim Top 100 Girl. Nicki Minaj did what she does best during her most recent private performance at the AT&T event, for the launch of the Samsung Infuse 4G launch, in Hollywood. She played some of her hottest songs such as “Did it on ‘em,” “Roman’s Revenge” and “My Chick Bad”. Major props to VLADTV for some great footage!

Nicki has been hot in the news for over a year, but now she is really beginning to melt down the presses with all the latest news. Today Nicki has managed to grab headlines all across the internet and for good reason.
Nicki Hits the Maxim Hot List
You would think this would be a no-brainer but it is Minaj’s first time on the Maxim Hot 100 List. She jumped on to their list at 75, not a bad start for a Hip Hop artist who just started becoming big after the release of her “Pink Friday” album in November.
Nicki was not the only Hip Hop Diva to make the list. She was joined by Ciara at number 67 and of course the perennial Maxim Hot Girl, Rihanna, was penciled in at number 6. This is Rihanna’s fifth consecutive year on the Maxim Hot List. Nicki is likely to keep climbing the list as she become better known as a true Diva of Hip Hop and not a brash female rapper. Finally, a good video from YMCMB. Nicki Minaj’s latest hit “Super Bass” off her latest platinum selling album Pink Friday. Nicki had reportedly shipped out 1 million units of her album within only 5 weeks of its debut! Been following Nicki since her come up in the industry and have a ton of respect for all she has done so far.

Nicki Minaj talks about the I Am Music 2 tour. I am very excited about this tour. I attended the first one and it really was amazing. This time around Nicki will be getting more than a 5 minute bit but a whole set to play which will definitely be great. I really suggest you all to check this out if you are Young Money fans.
