We got together with DJ MileHigh and we came up with this simple concept to put a mix together of Chicago artists who have projects out and also a bunch of submissions that we feel get overlooked in the. The mix features tracks from The 2 of Diamonds, Tink, Murph Watkins, Tony Cartel, Words, Chi-ill, Loose Cannons, Tim Million, Mint Lab Astros, Xspo, The Boy Illinois, and Rel. Some tracks are new and some have been out for a while but we just wanted to put something together for our listeners to enjoy and in the process our new brand HBML BGNGS was born. Xspo’s gearing up for his third official mixtape by releasing some new music. Working consistently, and experiencing changes as he progresses, Xspo tells it how it is in this new track called “Not Me“. Not sure if this will be featured on his upcoming mixtape Better With Time, but there will be certified releases from his upcoming mixtape soon.
And So It Begins, Xspo releases his second official self produced mixtape. Loaded with many features from his hometown Chicago, Xspo gives you a more lyrical him for this tape. The meaning behind “And So It Begins” is that this is the start of a new beginning. With his first tape (Love Fame Money) being successful as a debut mixtape, Xspo follows up with “And So It Begins” and shows the industry he can continue to produce and make good music.
Xspo and Lock (of The Suppliers) come together on their latest track, “The Pilot“. They are working on their mixtape Sooner Or Later and is expected to drop in June.
