BIRDMAN feat. FRENCH MONTANA & GUDDA GUDDA
“SHOUT OUT”
YMCMB, is definitely one of the hottest labels in the game right now. With members such as Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Drake, Lil Bow and many others, the list goes on and on, we would think the Birdman has no more time for his own music. He proves us wrong, everytime again and with his new song “Shout Out”, the Birdman has reached out to French Montana and Gudda Gudda, who we all still know from the Cash Money Recpord times.

“She Don’t Put It Down” feat. Lil Wayne & Tank

Joe Buddden is back with another strong Track featuring Lil Wayne and the soulful singer Tank. Slaughterhouse, which Joe Budden has been a solid member of for years now, has been making a lot of noise on the market in the past couple of months, for all that really know, years. It’s good to see the Jersey Boy come back with another hot new solo joint though, featuring these two prominent major artists. Check out the video after the break!

Damn! Cash Money Records is being apparently sued by EMI Records, according to Courthouse News Service. Story goes that Cash Money neglected to pay royalties which they agreed upon back in a 2009 settlement. The amount owed is $491,000 and is for sampling songs from EMI’s catalogue.
EMI stated the following,
“Because Defendant has ignored numerous communications from EMI regarding Defendant’s contractual obligations, EMI once more is being forced to commence a lawsuit against Defendant to recover royalty payments. The sales of Defendant’s products have far exceeded the payments that EMI has received.”
“It is clear from Defendant’s conduct that it has no intention of honoring the Agreement.”

There obviously is no slowing Birdman down. Cash Money/Young Money is not worried about who to sign, they are just signing everyone. From Mystikal to Limp Bizkit, YMCB are not missing a heartbeat. I have to give it to them though, the way to dominate is to diversify their musical portfolio and to expand and experiment in new genres of music. Not too long ago, Lil Wayne released his Rebirth album, which, in our opinion could have used some of Fred Durst’s help but that was just our opinion.
Now this coming 2012 Birdman wants and I guess plans to drop 16 albums under that YMCMB family umbrella. This goal was revealed to our highly respected friends at XXL during a recent interview. Limp Bizkit was just the beginning and Birdman plans to expand into multiple generes.
“I think bringing Fred and Limp Bizkit to the team gives us a different look,”Birdman told XXL.com. “We dominate rap, but we’re also trying to grow in different areas; Pop, rock, gospel, country. We’re a brand and we don’t want to be categorized as one type of brand. I think we’re a machine and we activate and were active as a machine. I thought this Limp Bizkit move would be big for us as a brand and a machine.”
Limp Bizkit’s first single drops next week and features Lil Wayne.

Just like a good financial portfolio, it is crucial to diversify and it seems like Cash Money is doing just that with their recent announcement about Limp Bizkit joining the YMCMB camp. There is no slowing Cash Money these past weeks with the signing of Mystikal, Busta Rhymes and Christina Milian. All of you who know Limp Bizkit know that Fred Durst did his share of “hip-hop” while rockin’ out on the mic, so it will be quite interesting to see where this partnership takes them.
Check out some recent tweets in regards to the recent news:

Seems like there is no slowing down the Young Money camp. After recently signing Busta Rhymes and Mystikal, Young Money goes on to signing the beautiful Christina Milian. Though, only a speculation at first, Christina takes to twitter to make it official.
